NEW ZEALAND CLAIM SERIES WIN
New Zealand won the ODI series against England 3-1 yesterday after winning the final match by 51 runs as England were bowled out for 215.
Collingwood banned for four ODI's
England's One Day captain Paul Collingwood has been banned for the next four games that England play after his shocking captaincy yesterday. He slowed the over rate down and then sent Grant Elliott walking after allowing Pieterson to run him out when he had been tripped over by Ryan Sidebottom and was still on the ground and the umpires asked if he wanted to let Elliott stay on knowing it was bad sportsmanship.
Collingwood will miss the next ODI against New Zealand. England's one off ODI against Scotland the only Twenty20 between England and South Africa and the first ODI of seven against South Africa. Peiterson is thought to be the stand in captain.
NAPIER BRAKES TWENTY20 RECORD
Graham Napier slogged a massive 152 not out against Sussex the other day as Essex managed to whack their way to 242/3 of their allocated 20 overs. Napier's huge knock is the highest ever scored in the twenty20 cup and is the second highest scored in the whole history of twenty20 cricket. Napier hit 16 sixes in his fantastic innings and and 10 fours that's 136 runs scored from boundarys!
Trescothick scores maiden twenty20 century
Marcus Trescothick became one of the few people to score a century in Twenty20 cricket yesterday in Somerset's victory over Worcestershire at Taunton. Trescothick's 107 is the second century so far in the tournement, South African Gaeme Smith scored the other for Derbyshire.

Australia claim easy win over University Of West Indies Vice Chacellors XI
Australia were strong with the bat against University of West Indies Vice Chancellors XI with a big total of 337/6 with a great 95 scored by Shane Watson and 3 aggresive fifties contributed between Mike Hussey, Micheal Clarke, and David Hussey. U.O.W.I.V.C XI collapsed and only posted a mere 126 all out at a very slow run rate. There was no punch in the U.O.W.I.V.C XI's innings except for a nice 43 scored by familiar face Danish Ramdin.
New Zealand Claim Absolute Thriller
After posting a mere 182 all out the kiwi's faught back hard and managed to bowl England all out for 160. Young Tim Southee took 4 wickets for just 38 runs out of his 10 overs and South African Grant Elliot shined with the bat and ball by scoring the only half century of the match and bowling 2-9 of 5 overs. After this great performance and a great effort at Edgbaston this makes Elliott a candidate for Player of the Week.
Both teams will go to the Oval knowing it is a must win match.
